Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number if you provide one. If you contact customer service or subscribe to our emails, we collect what you send us.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Square. Your card details are entered directly into a secure field hosted by Square and are never received or stored on our servers. We only receive a confirmation of the payment, the amount, and the last digits and brand of the card.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server logs record your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of each request. We also use a web analytics service to understand how many people visit the store and which pages they use.

Your shopping cart. The contents of your cart are stored in your own browser, not on our servers, so your cart is still there when you come back.

How we use it

Marketing emails

We only send promotional emails to people who have asked for them. Every one of those emails includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also write to soporte@hackelsinc.com at any time to be removed. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the emails we need to send you about an order you placed, such as the confirmation and the tracking number.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising. Your information is handled by us and by the service providers we need in order to run the store:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when we need to respond to a legal process, or when it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, warranty, and dispute purposes, and at least as long as the law requires. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Security

Payments are processed by Square over an encrypted connection and our site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold and we limit access to it to the people who need it to fulfil your order.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing. Write to soporte@hackelsinc.com from the email address you used for your order and we will respond within the time the law allows. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we may need to keep certain records even after a deletion request when the law requires it.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you and how we use and disclose it, the right to request a copy of it, the right to correct it, the right to request its deletion, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the products and services you asked for. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Children

This store is not intended for children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Customers between 13 and 18 may only use the store with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, as described in our terms of service. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, write to soporte@hackelsinc.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so on the store.
